K9 Public Art Commission

I’m honored to be selected for a painting commission for the public art K9 exhibit. It’s similar to the Cows on Parade or Horses of Honor exhibit. The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation is partnering with PAWS Chicago for this 2017 public art campaign featuring Chicago K9 Officers. Funds raised will support the important missions of both the CPMF and PAWS Chicago. The funds raised for the CPMF go to the families of fallen police officers. Each German Shepherd K9 statue is approximately 54 inches tall and will be individually painted by a Chicago artist. K9s will be on display in Chicago on the Magnificent Mile from July 23 through Labor Day.

Gordon Flesch Company Inc. is the sponsor. We're discussing the theme of the dog and I'm excited at what we're talking about.
